Different kinds of lasers produce very different amounts of viewable light at the same wattage. Color also plays a huge factor. For example, a 5mw (MilliWatt) green laser typically appears about 10 times as bright as a red laser of the same power. Most of the lasers sold on audio-depot.com are in the 5mw range.
Higher powered lasers, such as those of more than 750mw, can cause problems for air traffic communication when used outdoors, damage eyesight, and even start fires. Audio-Depot does not sell lasers of this wattage on its website.
